EXHIBITION "PING PONG PROCESS " // DES SIGNES- From 8/03/18 to 8/04/18

The creative duo Elise Muchir and Franklin Desclouds alias DES SIGNES continues their typographic experimentations on the occasion of the exhibition Ping Pong Process at Artazart . The duet sends the ball back and invites the viewer in a pure graphic game.

Ten names of distant neighborhoods delimit the playing field. The letters that compose them are considered as spaces and formal entities. They create circulations, combinations, fullness and emptiness. The Muchir-Desclouds players take hold of them and explore their graphic expression in a plastic approach.

They link manual and digital gestures, echo, superimpose, cut. They deconstruct, intersect effects of curve and matter, to better structure until the abstract. The creative device leads to a journey into the plasticity of words by creating its own hazards.

Free to create in this game whose rules they have formulated, the tandem considers lines and signs in a game of pure aesthetic pleasure. They compose a graphic universe, playful and rigorous, welcoming the random ricochet in an architectural whole.
