What's the connection between a Chinese tourist in a kimono cast in concrete, drunken salarymen who don't know how to wear a mask, a 14-meter high anti-tsunami wall over 300 km, silicone sex dolls who look 16 years old, an island ravaged by typhoons, evangelist yakuzas?

GIRI GIRI!

Nicolas Boyer is a French photographer who worked for over 10 years in advertising before turning to photography. He won the Sony World Photo in 2019 and is now a member of the Hans Lucas agency.
He is now releasing his first photographic book, Giri Giri, co-published by Editions de Juillet and Hatje Cantz.
