12 stages, 12 illustrators to conquer the roads of France
To the illustrious stranger who wrote " France is the heart of the world " in the "quote" section of evene.figaro.fr: we believe you. Companions of the road a little monomaniacal when it comes to travel, Kiblind & Artazart are back on the road in their beloved hexagon for the third consecutive year.
Illustrated road trip started in 2019, Détours de France has since taken 32 international illustrators on a journey of thought through the muddy and concrete roads of a France that is not to be outdone when it comes to showing off its brilliance. This year, 12 new backpackers tried their hand at this summer adventure.
Armed with their brand new pairs of eyes, they had the perilous mission of drawing 12 must-see places from a distance in their own way. France in all its plurality and beauty: sophisticated, bewitching, natural, surprising.
The fruit of this journey takes the form of a collection of 12 posters, printed in risography at Kiblind Atelier in Lyon, and exhibited all summer at Artazart. The vernissage will take place on Thursday, July 1st from 6:30 pm, in the presence of some artists.
All the posters will be available for sale exclusively at Artazart this summer, and on kiblind-store.com from July 5th.
AN EXPO AND MAGS
The new Kiblind magazines, "A quoi tu joues?" will also be available at Artazart on the evening of the opening, between one or two beers.
