Clément Toby, Parisian illustrator, virtuoso of color, exhibits at Artazart this winter!
After studying animation at the EMCA in Angoulême, he worked on large animation productions but above all loved to immortalize the landscapes and wild compositions that he discovered during his travels.
Fascinated by the light, shadows and textures of trees, he first follows his own steps, even if Félix Vallotton and the Japanese Kazuo Oga, DA of the Studio Ghibli films, inspire him in his art.
With his striking colors, closer to impressionist painting than to illustration, he likes to create a path towards the unknown, a mysterious, peaceful and timeless atmosphere, which calls for a journey.
If Clément has been presented at Artazart for 2 years, the exhibition "Horizons" is an opportunity to discover in exclusivity his new works in all formats, inspired by new landscapes...
See you on Thursday, November 18 from 6:30 pm!
