OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION AGNÈS HOSTACHE AND LAUNCH OF E.1027 - THURSDAY MARCH 23 FROM 6PM
In 2019, the world of illustration greeted Agnès Hostache with Nagasaki, a graphic novel published at Lézard noir, ADAGP 2020 revelation prize and selected at Angoulême.
With her new book E.1027, Agnès Hostache once again questions our relationship to the habitat. This time, she takes us to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, to the emblematic villa E.1027. Built by the architect Eileen Gray and her lover at the time Jean Badovici, the villa is named after a secret code linking their two names.
On the occasion of the release of her new bookE.1027, Agnès Hostache exhibits at Artazart unpublished prints ofE.1027. With direct and vivid tones, the illustrator plunges us into a sensual and surprising exploration, between iconic architecture of the twentieth century, intimacy of the characters and the sun of the French Riviera.
See you on Thursday, March 23rd from 6pm for the opening of the exhibition and a meeting-signing for E.1027 with Agnès Hostache!
