Martin Parr, Steeve McCurry, Raymond Depardon, Charles Fréger, Antoine d’Agata, Pierre et Gilles, Gil Rigoulet, Joel-Peter Witkin, Bernard Plossu, Harry Gruyaert, Anders Petersen or Stephen Shore… all the biggest names in photography have come to Artazart for launches and signings.

At the same time, we have also initiated a number of competitions based on the rediscovery of photographic techniques. This was notably the case with the Polaroid and “Your Magic Universe” competition in 2011, with Patti Smith as jury president.
So it was only right that we should make room for photographers we like, and who want to play the game of photographic democratization.
