Three characters, with a tendency to make each other suffer and sabotage their lives, decide to live together in a house: – A man who is only interested in girls who can hurt him. – A woman rider who says she loves only the most dangerous horses. – A man who wants to write, but is never satisfied and destroys what he invents. Between them, a friendship develops and their house becomes the shelter that protects them from the madness of the outside world. With La Maison nue, Marion Fayolle brings to life three marginal existences, who, despite their profound differences, seek together to better know and understand each other through the games and daily relationships of their roommate. La Maison nue questions us about the pain we inflict on ourselves, the beauty of melancholy, the lure of abysses and the fear of being alone.
