Agathe and Lorraine Sorlet are just twenty-seven years old. They may be twins, but they have another thing in common: they’ve been illustrating, exhibiting and making a living from their work for over four years. Each with their own distinctive style, they have won over a large audience, particularly on Instagram, thanks to a shared theme: love. Their figurative, naive, delicate and pop-colored works are followed by hundreds of thousands of people. In October, in anticipation of the Christmas holidays, they have decided to bring together some of their works in two books that will reveal their vision of love.
How can we say we love each other when words fail us? That’s the question each of them will try to answer. A common theme for two paintbrushes. For Agathe Sorlet, love is a question, a quest for self, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, always on the move. Her lively, slightly sexy silhouettes, always elegant and colorful, tell of a life and emotions that are also ours.
