After studying animation at EMCA in Angoulême, he worked on major animation productions for five years before devoting himself to illustration. Above all, he enjoys immortalizing the landscapes and wild compositions he discovers on his travels, whether real or imaginary. Fascinated by the light, shadows and textures of trees, he initially follows in his own footsteps, although Félix Vallotton and Japanese artist Kazuo Oga, the historic DA of Studio Ghibli films, inspire him in his art.

With his striking colors, closer to impressionist painting than illustration, he likes people to inhabit his landscapes, which become “an invitation into the unknown, into a mysterious, peaceful and timeless atmosphere.
