This book is a journey through the metamorphosis of materials and colour. From sculpture to image, the artist models textures, photographs and drawings and mixes the levels of representation. She plays with a homogenized elastic material in which chimeras go through different states, transform and become both exuberant and poetic. These hybrid creatures move between abstraction and figuration. Sometimes they freeze in frames, stretch out in an exhibition space or spread across the pages of a book.
