Papa ou le Francky is a comic strip about Camille Blandin’s father, someone extraordinarily ordinary (or ordinary extraordinary).
Her dad is an industrial maintenance teacher. He used to be a mechanic. He knows how to repair cars, build double-burning wood-burning stoves, has eight different sanders, even more drills, has a passion for scratching because it’s practical, wears safety shoes for safety, makes holes in socks when he’s not leaving bits of concrete in them, he grows pumpkins and carrots, he’s not too good at using his smartphone, he hangs everything up with wire (because it’s practical too), he has a truck, he likes to go to the rubbish dump, he has the same T-shirt in a thousand copies.
The Francky is a one-of-a-kind dad, and at the same time a dad like everyone else who does dad-like things.
