“Paris silence” is the first photo book about Paris during the lockdown, and as Anne Hidalgo puts it, “Moments of grace (…) intercepted with talent and creativity.
This incredible historical book bears witness to the confinement in Paris through 460 photos of empty Paris taken between March 25 and May 10, 2020. The book is prefaced by Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, and writer Arthur Dreyfus also took part in the project, writing a few haikus placed at various points in the book. A first exhibition of the photographs is also planned at the Mairie de Levallois-Perret from September 11 to October 10, 2020. Stéphane Gizard, born March 17, 1977 in Paris, is a French photographer.
