Elsa Martino is a young French illustrator, graphic designer and art director 2.0

Elsa claims it, but we also understand it very quickly: she assumes the bright colours. Her work is immediately recognisable by its daring tones. Her line is minimalist, very graphic, and only done with a computer. Women's silhouettes, legs, buttocks or breasts, stand out against coloured backgrounds. Elsa has borrowed her love of pop colours from David Hockney, one of her favourite artists. Who doesn't have in mind the bright turquoise blue of the English painter's swimming pools?

As far as the theme is concerned, we are right in the middle of urban culture or street culture. The young illustrator immortalizes with her digital pen women with dark glasses, rasta hats, low-cut baggys and impeccable afro cuts. She does not detail the features and faces but rather focuses on the outfits and curves of her characters. These drawings represent details of the everyday street that "catch her eye".
