UNVEILING OF THE “HORIZONS” EXHIBITION BY CLÉMENT THOBY – THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2021

Clément Toby, Parisian illustrator and color virtuoso, is exhibiting at Artazart this winter !

After studying animation at EMCA in Angoulême, he worked on major animation productions, but above all enjoyed immortalizing the landscapes and wild compositions he discovered on his travels.

Fascinated by the light, shadows and textures of trees, he initially follows in his own footsteps, although Félix Vallotton and the Japanese Kazuo Oga, DA of Studio Ghibli films, inspire his art.

With his striking colors closer to impressionist painting than illustration, he likes to create a path to the unknown, a mysterious, peaceful and timeless atmosphere that calls for travel.
