Born in 1967 in Morocco, Arié Botbol has retained a taste for color, flavor and refinement from his homeland. His first great photographic emotions came naturally under the lights of the Mediterranean. But he soon set his sights on other horizons and cultures. Elsewhere is his favorite and most inspiring territory, his favorite playground. Combining his experience as founder of the “Comme un lion” communications agency in Paris with his passion for photography, he tells simple stories, and creates rigorous compositions with lively, colorful atmospheres.
