A photographer for nearly 10 years, Christophe Jacrot began a career as a photojournalist in Paris.
Confronted with meteorological variations, he is ultimately fascinated by bad weather and keeps a strong experience that will inspire him in his work.
Surveying megacities, he captures what he sees as unpredictable and romantic. After Paris sous la pluie or New York in black, Christophe Jacrot takes us to Iceland with Snjor (“Snow” in Icelandic), a series of snowy photographs where a variation of moods and atmospheres come to life.
Christophe Jacrot sees only beauty behind the fragile balance of the world. An admirable book!
