Evelyne Mary, a linocut specialist, creates images using a vocabulary of shapes that she arranges in beautiful mineral and minimalist compositions, where intense colors vibrate against the white of the page.
After several albums for young people, she now joins forces with poet David Dumortier in “52 Petits mensonges et autres vérités”, a delightful play on words that confuses our imaginations and makes us think that lies are often just a question of point of view!
In honor of the 2017 edition of Printemps des poètes, the book published by Rue Du Monde will give rise to an exhibition at Artazart of the creations of illustrator Evelyne Mary until April 30.
