A creative jack-of-all-trades, Franck Dorat began his career in cinema decoration and 3D special effects. Inspired by the work of Alexander Calder, this unusual sculptor gives wire the soft shapes of hand-drawn forms. Without giving himself a hard time, he creates shapes in space, halfway between object and drawing.

Franck Dorat is a member of the “La Clef” collective, along with Cécile Basecq, Lyndie Dourthe and Elise Lefebvre, who are exhibiting at the same time.
