Named the Belgian master of color, Harry Gruyaert offers a graphic vision of the world and charts a new territory for photography: an emotive, non-narrative and radically graphic perception of what surrounds us.

A member of the Magnum Photos agency for 35 years, Harry Gruyaert is unquestionably one of the finest colorists of his generation. On the occasion of his retrospective at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie and the release of the monograph dedicated to his work by Textuel Editions, Artazart welcomed Harry Gruyaert on April 18, 2015, on the banks of the Canal St-Martin.
