In this curious gallery, pop-up art virtuoso Gérard Lo Monaco reinterprets the works of famous artists in 8 animated scenes: Salvador Dali, Victor Brauner, Jean Arp, Man Ray, Joseph Cornell, Dora Maar, René Magritte, André Breton.

A short text introduces each work and places it in context. Inspired by the playful, poetic spirit of Surrealism, this fabulous book-object, delicately painted in gouache, offers a rereading of key works from the movement that revolutionized modern art. To mark the 100th anniversary of Surrealism, the Centre Pompidou is dedicating a major exhibition to the movement, which will travel the world.
