What if plants, though devoid of brains, were wiser and better organized than we are? How then can we communicate with them, if not through the language of shapes and materials? These are the thoughts that have occupied the mind of architect and designer Patrick Nadeau since the early 2000s. His early research, involving the integration of plants into furniture or the creation of nomadic, modular gardens, soon led him to create a bold, visionary movement: plant-based design, drawing schools, students, manufacturers and high-end furniture and object editors into its fold.
