Brecht Evens graduated from the Saint-Luc school in Ghent (Belgium) with, under his arm, Les Noceurs, his graduation project, which, once published, won the Audace prize at the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
His inimitable style, characterized by a remarkable mastery of color and transparencies, a burst of perspective and a taste for detail, immediately arouses enthusiasm.

After several publications, his reputation continues to grow, and extends far beyond the borders of the comics world.
In 2018, he published Les Rigoles with Actes Sud BD, an impressive graphic novel of over 300 pages, recounting the wanderings of three night owls in a chimerical and sublime city, for which he received the Fauve – Prix Spécial du Jury at the 2019 Angoulême International Comics Festival.

After a first signing at Artazart, accompanied by the talented Yann Kebbi in January 2020, Brecht Evens gives us the pleasure of coming to the canal bank once again to sign and/or autograph your lovely books!
