MEETING & DEDICATION — DEFERRED — CELEBRATION – WILLIAM KLEIN

His motto: “Anything goes. No rules, no bans, no limits.” At 91, the Franco-American photographer born on April 19, 1928 is a jack-of-all-trades. Painter, visual artist, graphic designer, filmmaker and photographer, his output over the 20th century has been rich and varied. From his photographic diary of New York City to his co-creation of the Contacts series with Arte, William Klein has left his mark on the contemporary history of photography.

“I make books like we make films”, Klein likes to repeat, and we’ll be seeing him once again at Artazart on Thursday December 12 for an exceptional meeting to discuss his latest monograph, published by La Fabrica.
