Some full-page and double-page comics are so beautiful that you’d like to be able to detach them and hang them on the wall. An unattainable wish, on pain of destroying the book… Except at Lontano! This new collection from Actes Sud offers poster-books with detachable pages for even greater enjoyment.

Ten albums a year are planned, by a variety of authors. Yann Kebbi and Brecht Evens, winner of the Prix Coup de Coeur at Angoulême for his album Les Rigoles, kick off this promising series. The albums feature illustrations measuring 30 x 40 centimetres, and 60 x 40 centimetres for the double-page spreads, which readers can extract from the book.

To mark the launch, Artazart will be welcoming two talented illustrators, Brecht Evens and Yann Kebbi. They’ll be on hand to meet you and sign these beautiful editions over a drink.
