In this book, Agnès Hostache brings together images of interiors that evoke the lives of others to form a captivating narrative, accompanied by texts by Maxime Gueugneau. Texts and drawings, apparently arranged out of order, follow one another in a dynamic reminiscent of “dorica castra”, a figure of speech whose most famous example is the nursery rhyme we used to sing as children: “Trois p’tits chats, chats, chats, Chapeau d’paille, paille, paille”…
