Elsa Martino is a French artist and muralist, currently living and working in Paris.

Using her signature soft yet vibrant colors, she expresses herself by illustrating characters with attitudes marked by the 80s and 90s. She draws her inspiration from the fashion magazines of those eras. She creates both digitally and in painting, and often explores new media, large format being her favorite playground.

In her work, she’s not really concerned with details, but rather with the curves she transcribes in flat tints. Above all, she is interested in exaggeration, postures and framing.

Our books, artists’ illustrations and everything else we ship is lovingly packaged. Cardboard, tubes, tissue paper, bubble wrap and gift wrapping… we do everything possible to ensure that your order arrives at your door in tip-top condition!

We’re open 7 days a week, 363 days a year, except on 25 December and 1 January. So drop in whenever you like!

Elsa Martino

Elsa Martino is a French visual artist based in Paris. Her works, built around bold colours and pared-down compositions, offer an experience that is both visual and sensitive. In 2017, she graduated in graphic design from the École d’Arts Appliqués de Condé in Lyon.

Through her paintings, murals and textile works, she favours an approach that invites feelings rather than simple interpretation. Her interest in fashion and architecture feeds her exploration of line, pattern, structure and the body in space, enriching her approach to art.

She has collaborated on numerous projects including creations for Studio 13/16 at the Centre Pompidou, in situ works for Adidas, and a monumental fresco created at the Forum des Halles as part of the 4ᵉ edition of Art sous Canopée. She has also worked with the City of Paris on an advertising campaign and created murals for the French Institute in Singapore and India.
