In her neighborhood, a House lives happily with its inhabitants. It warms them in winter, comforts them when school starts, and shelters their secrets in summer. But one day, the inhabitants lose touch with each other and give way to anger and resentment. Their conflicts spoil the house and begin to destroy it.

Determined to put things right before they are completely demolished, the House decides to leave with its inhabitants for a change of scenery. One night, it travels around the world, eventually settling in a small corner of paradise. In this new place, everyone rediscovers the pleasure of being together and the bonds that unite them. But one day, the arguments start up again…
