Dr H. M. Tavernier, honorary director of the B wing of a psychiatric institute and a specialist in innovative ‘archtherapy’, introduces us to his establishment and its patients, all of whom have a close connection with architecture, and comments on the drawings of imaginary buildings they have produced during their cures. Under the auspices of pataphysics (Queneau, Jarry and… Lacan), Hervé Le Tellier presents these residents in tragi-comic micro-fictions, exercises in style and madcap humour, in which troubled and unusual destinies take shape.
