IT’S ALREADY NIGHT 4 – Maguelone du Fou

Based in sunny Provence, Maguelone is an artist who places light and colour at the heart of her world. She explores traditional techniques such as watercolour, ink, pastels and gouache to create compositions that are rich in detail, vibrant and unique.

Her inspiration comes from everyday life: a lush garden, the night, a changing sky, and the poetry of the ordinary feed her unique vision and shape her palette. A graduate of the École Estienne in Paris, she is the author of several children’s books.

Represented by the Pekelo agency in France and Garance Illustration Agency in the United States, she regularly collaborates on projects for the press, publishing, brands, and collective events such as The Parisianer and the Slow Galerie.

Since its creation in July 2000, Artazart has celebrated and championed illustration in all its forms—from children’s books to graphic design and illustrated novels.
Today, we are going even further: we publish the artists who inspire us on a daily basis. More than 100 illustrators sign original works for Artazart, numbered and limited to 200 copies.
These creations are rare, but always accessible, so that everyone can bring art into their daily lives.
