A graduate of the École de Condé in Paris, Camille de Cussac, an internationally renowned Parisian illustrator, has an inimitable style and colour palette. Using her Posca pens, she draws the world around her – her travels and her contemporaries – with great humour and tenderness.

Camille already has around fifteen books to her name (written and/or illustrated), including her latest, *Mamita Sandwich*, which was published in 2025 by Editions de l’étagère du bas. More recently, she has also tried her hand at an animated short film, which she co-wrote with Caroline Torelli and for which she created all the visual design. “Il est une fois” has now been selected for over 50 festivals, including the Annecy Festival.

Preparation

Our books, artists’ illustrations and everything else we ship is lovingly packaged. Cardboard, tubes, tissue paper, bubble wrap and gift wrapping… we do everything possible to ensure that your order arrives at your door in tip-top condition!

In-store collection 7 days a week

We’re open 7 days a week, 363 days a year, except on 25 December and 1 January. So drop in whenever you like!

You have 30 days to exchange an item that doesn’t fit. Artazart will not ask you any questions because…to err is human!

Your artwork is unique, signed and very often numbered because it is produced in a small number of copies. For very small series, a certificate of authenticity accompanies your illustration or photograph.

Camille de Cussac

Camille de Cussac is a graduate of the Ecole de Condé in Paris, and is represented by Slow Agence. She has published a number of children’s books, including the famous “KO à Cuba”, published by Thierry Magnier.

With a palette that’s out of the ordinary and always full of humor, she tells funny, poetic stories. Her passion for the unknown takes us far afield, through her amused and tenderized view of the zaniness of her contemporaries here and abroad. You could discover her on the banks of the Canal Saint Martin in January 2020.
