Diane Cartron is an illustrator living and working in Paris. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Val de Seine, she has, since childhood, had a passion for images that convey emotions and scenes from everyday life.
Her work, created mainly using coloured pencils, draws inspiration from movement, nature and the aquatic world. She creates sensitive, narrative illustrations in which observations of reality blend with a subtle poetry, whether for the press, publishing or private commissions.
Since its creation in July 2000, Artazart has celebrated and championed illustration in all its forms — from children’s books to graphic design and illustrated novels.
Today, we are taking it a step further: we publish the artists who inspire us every day. Over 100 illustrators create exclusive works for Artazart, each numbered and limited to 200 copies.
