A graduate of ECV Paris, Cosmo Danchin-Hamard is a young illustrator who lives and works in Le Havre. Her visual style, which is both pop and retro, draws on the ‘ligne claire’ style of comic books, 1950s illustration and Pre-Raphaelite influences. Featuring women in particular, her illustrations always tell a story, brimming with a myriad of funny and colourful details and often complemented by a comic-strip speech bubble containing a sarcastic comment. Cosmo’s work reveals a boundless, offbeat and unique imagination. “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken” (Oscar Wilde) is her favourite quote, and she embodies it perfectly.

Since its inception in July 2000, Artazart has celebrated and championed illustration in all its forms — from children’s books to graphic design and illustrated novels.
Today, we’re taking it a step further: we publish the artists who inspire us every day. Over 100 illustrators create original works for Artazart, each numbered and limited to 200 copies.
These are rare creations, yet always accessible, so that everyone can bring art into their daily lives.

Preparation

Our books, artists’ illustrations and everything else we ship is lovingly packaged. Cardboard, tubes, tissue paper, bubble wrap and gift wrapping… we do everything possible to ensure that your order arrives at your door in tip-top condition!

In-store collection 7 days a week

We’re open 7 days a week, 363 days a year, except on 25 December and 1 January. So drop in whenever you like!

TO ERR IS HUMAN…

You have 30 days to exchange an item that doesn’t fit. Artazart will not ask you any questions because…to err is human!

QUALITY

Artazart works with the best printers and printers in Paris for both photography and illustration. Whether it’s a silver print made in Paris and Fine Art on neutral ph paper and pigment inks guaranteed for 200 years, or a digital print on Fedrigoni paper, we take great care in printing your works of art.

CERTIFIED WORKS

Your artwork is unique, signed and very often numbered because it is produced in a small number of copies. For very small series, a certificate of authenticity accompanies your illustration or photograph.
