SEASIDE – Claire Goudeau

Claire Goudeau is a French illustrator and painter who graduated in Printed Image from the Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 2022. This dual degree gave her a taste for printed images, teaching her printing techniques such as engraving, screen printing and risography, and allowing her to discover the world of contemporary publishing. Gradually moving away from design, she found incredible narrative potential, rich in meaning, in illustration and the creation of printed images. Inspired by the colours and patterns of her childhood in the Pacific, she illustrates her memories, faithfully transcribing or modelling reality according to her imagination.

Since its creation in July 2000, Artazart has celebrated and championed illustration in all its forms, from children’s books to graphic design and illustrated novels.
Today, we are going even further: we publish the artists who inspire us on a daily basis. More than 100 illustrators sign original works for Artazart, numbered and limited to 200 copies.
These creations are rare, but always accessible, so that everyone can bring art into their daily lives.
