Sous mon aile
It is a large book, a very large book indeed. That was certainly what was needed to accommodate these five life-size bird figures.
Against a blue background – a sky made of paper – these birds come to life. Starting with the largest (the harrier) and ending with the smallest (the tit), each finds its place and looks after the others, from the strongest to the most fragile. Then, from the smallest to the largest, each bird hatches from its egg, breaks free, spreads its wings and takes flight. *Sous mon aile* celebrates essential values: passing on knowledge, sharing, kindness, generosity and empathy.
A poetic tribute – a parent speaking to their child, who too will one day fly the nest – a thought-provoking book that explores the invisible bond that unites us with nature. On the flaps, a short factual text about our five birds: the harrier, the tawny owl, the common swift, the house martin and the tit.
