“Bain de nature”, exhibition presented from April 14 to May 31, 2022

Virginie Cognet began her career as a fashion stylist and then as an art director before turning to illustration as a self-taught artist. She has collaborated with numerous women’s magazines (notably Flow Magazine), and works regularly for children’s publishing, major retailers such as BHV Marais and children’s fashion. Her paintings, done in gouache with a naive, poetic lightness, are remedies for melancholy.

The nature bath she offers us today plunges us into a verdant environment in which it’s so good to relax, lying in the fresh grass, enjoying a light warm breeze heralding the arrival of spring, contemplating the flight of swallows…
