UNVEILING OF THE EXHIBITION “CULT” – UNIKO – THURSDAY APRIL 21 – 18H

The CULT series, is freely inspired by this aesthetic of stained glass windows in churches… places of worship. Large expanses of bright, sparkling colors, framed in black, meet here contemporary subjects and themes.

Bastien Figuié, aka Uniko, draws on his everyday life: paintings by the great masters, artists and designers, sports teams and mythical film scenes… All these references, which have become cult in their own time, form the basis of his minimalist work. In these uncluttered images, anyone can see and imagine whatever they wish.

Bastien Figuié is a young art director trained in design in the south of France, with a love of minimalist branding, beautiful lettering and clean shapes. After working for various Parisian communications agencies in the luxury and corporate sectors, it was only natural that he should wish to broaden his field of action and take the plunge… to finally present his illustrations.

Minimalist, joyful, sometimes abstract or sometimes typographic, Bastien’s work keeps as a red line frank and assumed colors and the energy that comes out of them. Bastien Figuié now works as a freelance Art Director.
