Through her photographic series, Linda Tuloup has developed a singular artistic practice in which she explores her relationship with nature and the image of the feminine.
The book “Brûlure” is an experience, a secret initiation, a journey through fire. From the very first pages, without really knowing where we’re going, we slowly make our way along a path of burning and metamorphosis. We pass through landscapes, bodies, forests, shimmering lights, a river, time – through a few details of old paintings and a gesture that repeats itself.
As in Dante’s “The Divine Comedy”, Linda Tuloup’s “Brûlure”, laid out by graphic designer Ruedi Baur, draws us slowly into the obscure clarity where the being never ends wandering. With her delicate images, the photographer pushes our bodies and souls into the constellations of being.
